コナミデジタルエンタテインメントは2月28日、人気サッカーゲーム『ウイニングイレブン 2014』のPS3版において、アジア予選から世界の頂点まで日本代表の激闘を体験できる追加ダウンロードコンテンツ「ジャパンチャレンジパック」と、Jリーグクラブや選手、専用モードを追加できるダウンロードコンテンツ「J.LEAGUEパック」を今春配信することを発表した。
「ジャパンチャレンジパック」は、日本代表のアジアから世界に至る激闘をゲームの中で体験することができる新しいモード。
アジアの強豪チームがひしめく“インターナショナルカップ アジア予選”から世界最大のサッカーの祭典“インターナショナルカップ”本大会への出場、優勝を目指す内容となる。
チーム全体を操作する「チームモード」と、選手の一人だけを操作する「プレイヤーモード」を搭載しており、チームモードでは監督として日本代表選手を選出し、自分だけの代表チームで世界にチャレンジ。プレイヤーモードでは既存の日本代表選手になるだけでなく、“ビカム・ア・レジェンド”で育てたオリジナル選手をメンバーに選んでプレイすることも可能となっている。
「J.LEAGUEパック」は、Jリーグの公式ライセンスを受け、J1・J2の全40クラブ、1,000人以上の所属選手を収録。今作のDLCでは選手を集めて育成しながら国内最強のクラブチームを目指すJリーグ版「マスターリーグ」モードを搭載している。
さらに、「日本代表」と「Jリーグ」、2つのダウンロードコンテンツを追加すると、Jリーグに所属するすべての日本人選手のなかから、日本代表の最終メンバーを選出することが可能になるようだ。（※「J.LEAGUEパック」については、詳細なリリースがあり次第改めてお届けする予定）
